NFL Divisonal PLayoffs

Well I haven't written in awhile, and this one won't be long. I'd like to say for last week's NFL playoff match-ups, I would have gone 4-0. But I didn't write it down, so I got no proof. But that is okay, I'll just go 4-0 this week as well. So here you go gamblers, or for those just looking to look smart with your friends.

Seattle over Washington:
It was impressive how the Redskins' defense shut down the Buccaneers, well that and a ball that was/should have been caught by the Bucs late in the game for a touchdown was not to be. Either way, there is no way they can get away with less than 200 yards of offense against the high power Seahawks. Seattle moves on, and probably by at least 10.

Patriots over Denver:
It's playoff time. That means Tom Brady is unbeatable. Denver is at home, but the Patriots know how to play in cold, snowy weather. The game will be close, but the Patriots pull it out on a late Vinatari field goal.

Steelers over Colts:
Some may call this an upset, I just call this common sense. I'ts playoff time, which means this is a big game. Peyton Manning doesn't know what the meaning of the phrase "big game" is. He'll find a way to lose this game, as the Colts prove once again that taking off a bunch of time late in the season to "rest up" hurts you more than helps you. Steelers will run all over the Colts, proving that the MNF game earlier this year was nothing more than a fluke.

Bears over Panthers:
This is my game of the week. It will be close, with neither offense all that flashy. But its in Chicago, and that is not a fun stadium to play in January when you are a dome team. The Panthers get frost bitten and beat by a fierce Chicago defense.

I hope these games are more exciting to watch than last weeks, which save the Redskins/Bucs game were all a bunch of blowouts.
